The ECO function is supposed to help save fuel. When the brake is depressed just nice until car does not move or stationary, it cuts off the engine. Think this is the design concept...
The air con and other electrical components will continue to be active.

My personal opinion:
Once engine is cut off, there is dead silence... feel awkward.
Not sure whether the sudden stop and start will affect engine or starter motors.
Can be very jerky if the engine stops and suddenly have to move on again. It's like a 1 sec lapse feel...
If under hot weather, can be very uncomfortable.

My solution:
De-activate the stupid button every time I start the car.
KpKb and hope the new models don't have this function... seems like I will KpKb a long time until use to it.

My car seems to be having the FC despite not using the ECO function.

Better solution:
Look for Bro Camber lor
Cheers
