Changing cabin filter for W204

This is very helpful if you want to DIY. The cabin filter can be purchased from Goldenlink for $69.

Most ppl feedback after the change, they had back pain.

But will save close to 300 bucks as C&C charges 120 bucks for parts and 180 bucks for labor fee. If I remind correctly

Another way, is to buy the filter and go to Chip soon and pay $10. :rock:

some of us are not really mechanically inclined..
sounds cheapskate.. is it possible for outside workshops to diagnose the problem (and determine the required parts) first, then go outside buy, then return to them?

the other time i changed all my brake disks and pads, it is still a few hundred $ more expensive to let the outside workshop source the parts than get it myself

If you know which part of your car needs new parts & know where to source for these parts, you will stand to save quite a bit of money. However, if you are not familiar with the car then it's best left to the experts. Even then, it's always better to have a reliable mechanic whom you can trust in order not to be conned.

Common DIY parts r the cabin air con filter, Wipers and the wiper fluid top up

Tyre rotation can be done at auto saver. Just 20 bucks

Hi bro, Chip Soon pretty much does everthing. They even have the MB dianogstics equipment. A few technicians there are ex-C & C staff.
